Travel Nurse RN - Nursery - $2,785 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Preceptor experience is required. Delivery room experience is required. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Nursery. This position involves working in a Special Care Nursery setting. The nurse will be expected to float to postpartum for baby care assignments. Every other weekend work is required. Responsibilities include assessing newborns and administering care. The nurse will assist with circumcision care and discharge teaching to parents. Knowledge of thermoregulation, vaccine administration, and infant identification is essential. Experience with IV antibiotics, phototherapy, and managing newborn hypoglycemia is required. The nurse should demonstrate the ability to provide education on car seat use and cord care. Capable of maintaining strong communication with interdisciplinary support staff.
