Orientation: Every other Monday.

Tennessee Abuse Registry clearance is required prior to the assignment start date.

Responsibilities

This is a true OB cross-trained position. Nurses must be comfortable providing care across:

• Labor & Delivery
• Postpartum
• Newborn Nursery
• Pre-transition newborn care

Common Patient Care

• Intrapartum care
• Postpartum recovery
• Newborn nursery care
• Newborn pre-transition care

Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license (or compact license if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of OB experience
• Previous experience in:
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Postpartum
  • Newborn Nursery
  • Pre-transition newborn care
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• AWHONN required
• NRP required
• PALS required

• Handle With Care (HWC) required
