Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics- Provide comprehensive care to low risk OB patients and stable newborns
- Support high risk OB patients in collaboration with MFM
- Stabilize newborns and serve as a circulator during C-sections
- Operate central monitoring for fetal and newborn monitoring
- Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium as required
- Collaborate effectively with OB techs and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to hospital protocols
Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics- Active IL license or confirmation that application is in process
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, C-EFM, NRP
- Experience with stabilization of newborns and circulatory roles in C-sections
