Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current State License Certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: OR circulation, mother/baby, triage (preferred but not required) Description: Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area. This facility has 111 beds. Services offered include emergency department, family medicine, orthopedic/joint replacements, OB/GYN, internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, lab, diagnostic imaging, and more. The hospital is a teaching facility. It is the largest of the Tri-Cities. The area has 25 square miles of beautiful recreational landscape. It is home to 3 golf courses. There are 27 public parks in the region. The location is in the heart of Washington wine country. It is 3 hours from Seattle and Portland, and 2 hours from Spokane. Direct flights are available from the local airport to 10 major U.S. hubs. Unit Information: The facility includes a birth center. There are 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds. Patient ratios are per AWHONN guidelines. The electronic health record systems used are Centricity and Paragon. The supervisor is responsible for managing the unit. Patient Population: The unit primarily serves adult patients. Additional Notes: Flexibility and good communication skills are essential for this role. Please ensure you meet the requirement of 2 years of recent acute care experience. The dress code includes blue and blue/green scrubs, with specific attire restrictions.
