Job Title: Clinical Nurse II Profession: Nursing Specialty: Ambulatory Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of obstetric ambulatory experience. License: Current RN License. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Must-Have: Proficient in the operation of clinical equipment, computers, and technology within the nursing practice setting. Description: The Clinical Nurse II is an RN who practices as a full partner on the health care team. The nurse consistently demonstrates safe practice within the organization's professional practice model. The Clinical Nurse II possesses the knowledge, skills, and attitude to effectively meet standards for competent professional nursing practice. The nurse exhibits organizational core values reflecting its mission. The Clinical Nurse II independently provides patient care through the application of the nursing process. The nurse accepts accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients. Assigned patients may range in age from infancy to adult. OB, triage experience is preferred, with 3 years of obstetrics experience required, not necessarily in ambulatory settings. Labor and Delivery experience is also preferred. Ambulatory experience is preferred.
