Travel Nurse RN - Obstetrics/Gynecology in Hickory, NC

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery / LDRP setting following AWHONN staffing standards
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, including fetal monitoring in accordance with unit protocols
• Care for GYN patients as part of the unit's patient population
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Float as helping hands to support unit needs as required
• Wear navy scrubs when assigned to C-section cases (scrubs supplied by facility)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Must be available to start on one of the following orientation dates: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, or December 7
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LDRP experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Experience caring for GYN patient populations
• Collaborative, positive, and committed approach to patient care
