Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite | Rotating every 3 weeks, typically every third weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Postpartum, Nursery, and Labor and Delivery settings
- Maintain 1:1 staffing ratio for Labor patients and 1:3 ratio for Couplets Postpartum/Nursery
- Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems including EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX
- Rotate across unit assignments on a scheduled basis with weekend rotation approximately every third weekend
- Float to Med-Surg unit as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in both Postpartum/Nursery and Labor and Delivery required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Med-Surg unit float experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX systems
