Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every 3rd weekend | No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Women's Services, including Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, Gynecology, and Pediatrics
• Manage and monitor patients using Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue technology
• Document and coordinate care using the MediTech EHR system
• Care for a diverse patient population including maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with ratios based on acuity
• Demonstrate charge nurse leadership as required by the unit
• Float to other areas of the unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid to practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or Gynecology
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Charge nurse experience required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Women's Services experience
• Prior charge nurse experience in a comparable Women's Services or OB/GYN setting
• Familiarity with MediTech EHR and Philips fetal monitoring systems
