Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Occupational Health/Employee Health to support a leading healthcare organization in New York City. This role focuses on employee health services, including vaccine administration, health screenings, and electronic medical record (EMR) documentation in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for RNs with experience in occupational health, employee health, ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, or vaccine administration who enjoy promoting workplace health and wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Administer influenza and other employee vaccinations.
- Perform employee health assessments and screenings.
- Accurately document all patient interactions in the EMR.
- Educate employees on immunizations, preventive care, and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor employees following vaccine administration and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain infection prevention and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume clinical environment.
Minimum Qualification:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience.
- Minimum 2 years of medical, ambulatory, or clinical nursing experience.
- Experience administering vaccines is required.
- EMR experience required.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program.
