Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,829 per week in Birmingham, AL

The role involves providing compassionate nursing care to patients. You will be responsible for patient assessments and developing nursing care plans. You will manage patient medication and provide education to patients and families. This unit handles a variety of patients including oncology, palliative, and post-op bariatric patients. You will work with basic medical equipment and an electronic medical record system. The nursing team values individuals who are responsible, dependable, and hardworking. You will need to be patient-oriented and compassionate in your approach. Weekend hours will be required every other weekend. There are no call requirements for this position. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1.
