Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,871 per week in Tallahassee, FL

Job Title: Travel RN Medical Oncology Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS required, specialty certification preferred Must-Have: The right attitude to put the patients first. Description: This position is for a travel RN in the Medical Oncology unit. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This unit has 33 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. There is a unit secretary present from 7 AM to 11 PM, along with 3 CNAs for 33 patients. A Charge RN is assigned to each shift, along with Clinical Manager and Director support. Electronic whiteboards and iPhones with iMobile are used for communication and monitoring. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed. Hourly rounding is expected on day shifts and every 2 hours after 9 PM. Inpatient chemotherapy is administered by core nursing staff with ONS chemotherapy training.
