**Exciting Opportunity for Medical-Surgical/Oncology RN!** Join our dynamic team on the 6th Floor Med-Surg/Oncology unit, where you'll be part of a highly collaborative environment dedicated to patient-centered care. We are seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to fill our 48-hour guaranteed positions starting on 12/14. **Unit Information:** - **Location:** Independence, Missouri - **Unit:** 6th Floor Med-Surg/Oncology - **Number of Beds:** 36 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:6 - **Staffing Team:** Clinical Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Unit Secretary - **Equipment Used:** I-med, I-mobile, Neurons (vitals machine), Glucometer, PCA, Wound vac, Chest Tubes, Surgical Drains - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** Every other weekend **Patient Population:** - Med Surg/Oncology/Hospice patients - Hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring (without interventions) **Desired Skills and Qualifications:** - Team-oriented attitude - Positive and proactive approach - Ability to stay busy and engaged - Commitment to patient-centered care - **Certification Required:** BLS **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Wound Vac changes - Drain Removal - IV/PICC line management - Foley insertion/removal - NG insertion/removal **Floating Areas:** - Med-Surg and Telemetry (Med-Surg level patients) **Dress Code:** - Nurses: Pewter (gray) - PCTs: Caribbean Blue **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
