Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,047 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in oncology nursing License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required Must-Have: Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients preferred Description: BLOCK 1Y/1ST TIMERS - MS ONC RN Position may float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends are required every other week. Block schedules are required. Expected patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:4. Special requirements include ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification. Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients is preferred. Travelers may float to other units based on their skill sets. Travelers are required to have a vehicle for this assignment. It is common for travelers to float to other units and facilities to meet patient care needs. Facilities may include multiple locations. If floating to certain facilities, additional compensation will be provided. Facility is a short-term acute care hospital. Staffed beds total 418. Scrub color is any, except for specific departments where provided attire is required. Charting system utilized is Epic. Daily census and patient demographics will vary. Expected patient diagnoses and special procedures will be detailed during orientation. Please note that travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment. Providers will be supplied with communication devices needed to perform duties. If communication devices are not provided, reimbursement may be offered for incurred costs. References are required covering recent nursing experience. Travelers must commit to working designated holidays. All scheduling requests must be made upfront during application. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to contract termination.
