Job Title: RN, MedSurg/Oncology Profession: Nursing Specialty: Agency Staff RN Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) - State License Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Must-Have: Prior med/surg experience focusing on adult med-surg. Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Time management and organizational skills. Self-directed with the ability to make quality, independent decisions. Analytical and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and high volumes. Competency in a variety of computer hardware and software systems. Description: Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably. Demonstrates competency through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds professional performance standards and strives to achieve optimal outcomes. Provides evidence-based nursing care consistent with the interprofessional plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures. Communicates and collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and coordination of care. Acts as a patient/family advocate. Performs point-of-care testing as required.
