Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) registered nurse (RN) position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing specialized care to adult oncology patients, including those undergoing bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy, and treatment for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. The nurse will be responsible for telemetry monitoring within a fast-paced adult medical oncology unit, supporting patient-centered care and adhering to hospital protocols and standards.

Job Details:

  • Location: Baltimore, Maryland
  • Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, oncology background, 2 years current nursing experience, 1-2 travel assignments, prior employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities (if applicable); Telemetry experience preferred; Alaris pumps; EPIC experience; Chemo certification preferred (chemo administration not required)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Alaris pumps, EPIC, and chemo certification is preferred
  • Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Prior employment history with Johns Hopkins facilities, if any, must be noted in the applicants work history and verified before an offer is extended. Candidates previously employed at Johns Hopkins facilities must be separated for at least one year before applying as a traveler.
