Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology located in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized nursing care on an adult medical oncology telemetry floor. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care tailored to individuals with malignancies such as hematologic and solid tumor cancers, including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapies. The assignment starts on 08/17/2026, with a focus on patient-centered oncology treatment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, with shift hours totaling 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, oncology nursing background, 2 years of current nursing experience, 1-2 travel assignments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Alaris pumps, EPIC electronic health record system, Chemo certification (preferred but not required as Chemo is administered by unit staff).
  • Patient Population: Adult oncology, including bone marrow transplant, CAR-T, hematologic, and solid tumor malignancies
  • Orientations: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
  • Additional Information: Candidates with prior employment at any Johns Hopkins health system facility must have completed at least one full year away from any Johns Hopkins facility before applying. Verification of previous employment must be noted on the coversheet and work history.
