- Competence in IV hydration and electrolyte replenishments
- Ability to obtain height, weight, and vital signs
- Capability to draw labs using central venous catheter or peripherally
Description:
Critical unit details include a patient ratio of 4:1 and 16 chairs available.
No unit secretaries or techs are present on the unit.
Equipment includes Alaris Pumps.
Documentation is performed using MediTech Expanse.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or major holidays required.
Floating may occur to a different department, with prior orientation provided.
Chemotherapy patient experience is necessary.
Solid colored scrubs in navy, lavender, pink, black, or teal are required.
