Description:
Department: Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, & Pediatric Infusion.
Responsibilities include accessing and de-accessing ports.
Initiating IV and therapies.
Administering infusion therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
Administering blood products and performing therapeutic phlebotomy.
Providing pain and symptom management.
Conducting injections and patient education.
Coordinating care via phone and electronic medical records.
Administering vaccines, managing record transfers, and collaborating in care with outpatient partners.
Performing daily equipment checks and quality control.
Other duties as directed.
May require floating to various departments within Pediatric Sub-Specialties.
