Description:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to oncology patients.
The nurse will administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects.
The role requires handling body fluids in a safe manner following chemotherapy administration.
Continuous infusion of chemotherapy may also be necessary as part of patient care.
The nurse will perform IV push administration of chemotherapy and monitor patients closely during treatment.
Additionally, the role includes recognition and communication of abnormal lab values to the healthcare team.
The nurse will also be expected to maintain certification in Central Line management.
Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory.
The nurse will conduct dressing changes and draw labs as needed.
Floating to other locations within the health system may be required to meet facility needs.
Weekends and holidays are not required for this position.
Nurses will work in a supportive and interdisciplinary environment focused on patient-centered care.
Attention to compliance details is essential, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
