Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,367 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Hematology Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), OCN* Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Previous charge experience preferred - Float within scope if needed - Must be comfortable working with adults and geriatrics Description: Work hours are 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00. Rotating days off will be observed between Monday and Wednesday. Locals are allowed at the same rate. Candidates must have accessing and managing ports skills. Administration of chemotherapy experience is required. Ability to recognize and manage side effects of treatments is essential. Skills in starting and maintaining IVs are necessary. Candidates should have phlebotomy skills and central line care experience. Familiarity with managing altered mental status, nausea, and vomiting is expected. The work environment requires knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE. Strong communication skills to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values are necessary. Candidates will float within their scope when needed. A BSN is preferred.
