Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,404 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS certification, Chemotherapy certification (e.g., OCN) Must-Have: Chemotherapy experience Description: The RN provides safe, high-quality nursing care to oncology and non-oncology patients in a fast-paced ambulatory infusion setting. Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, and supportive therapies. Continuous patient monitoring is required. Rapid response to infusion reactions and emergent situations is essential. Ongoing patient education is a key responsibility. Proficiency with IV insertion is required. Preferred qualifications include ambulatory infusion experience and Epic experience. Travel nursing experience is also preferred. Core competencies include peripheral IV insertion and blood draws. Experience with access, maintenance, and de-access of central lines (PICC, ports, CVCs) is necessary. Comprehensive patient assessment skills are required. Management of infusion reactions and urgent clinical changes is an important duty. Patient and caregiver education is essential in this role. The schedule is Monday through Friday with five 8-hour shifts. Shifts are staggered: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. There are no weekends or holidays, and the role will involve both chemotherapy and non-oncology patients.
