Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – BMT Oncology
Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology – Med Surg/Telemetry
Facility: Colorado Blood Cancer Institute
Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Schedule Details
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 3×12-Hour Shifts
Required Experience
Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology acute care hospital experience
Experience with Chemotherapy Administration
Experience with Central Line Blood Draws
Required Certifications
Active RN License
BLS
ACLS
ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification
Position Highlights
Work at the 15th largest Bone Marrow Transplant Center in the U.S.
Participate in Phase I (First-in-Human) Clinical Trials
Growing CAR-T Therapy Program
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (lower for higher-acuity patients)
Modern equipment including Baxter IV Pumps and ICU Medical Chemo Adapters
EMR: Meditech & Onco
Supportive team with Charge RNs, Resource RN, Medical Assistants, and experienced nursing staff
Additional Important Notes
BMT/Hematology-Oncology experience is highly preferred
Seeking candidates with an outgoing, personable, and compassionate approach
Only candidates meeting the required BMT Oncology experience and certifications will be considered
