Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,464 per week in Tallahassee, FL

Description: This position is for a travel RN in Medical Oncology. The schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Guaranteed hours are 48 per week. The facility offers various healthcare services including a cancer center. It is a fully-accredited acute-care hospital with over 266 beds. The unit consists of 33 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. There are unit secretaries on duty from 7 AM to 11 PM. Three CNAs are available for 33 patients. Each shift is staffed with a Charge RN, Clinical Manager, and Director. Documentation is handled through an electronic system. Staff are required to do hourly patient rounding during the day and every two hours overnight. Inpatient chemotherapy is administered by nursing staff with appropriate training. Preferred certifications include Med Surg, Palliative Care, ONS. The dress code consists of pewter scrubs and white. This unit has received recognition for excellence in Medical Surgical Nursing. The facility is involved in implementing new technology and supplies frequently.
