Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiation Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of charge experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: All required certifications must be in-hand when applying. Must-Have: EPIC charting system experience required Description: Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology for a 13-week contract. Shifts are scheduled during the day from 08:00 to 16:30. Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience is necessary. Current state nursing license must be held when applying. All required certifications must be available at the time of application. EPIC charting system experience is a requirement. CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute is required. Must care for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Experience with care and management of ports, central lines, and peripheral IVs is essential. Knowledge of conditions such as acute tumor lysis syndrome, anaphylaxis, hemorrhage, and sepsis is necessary. Additional skills required include wound care and management of symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and edema. Candidates should be familiar with various radiation therapies and safety precautions. Ability to provide interdisciplinary support and care for diverse patient diagnoses is expected. Flexible to work with a maximum of 7 days of request time off per 13-week contract is preferred.
