Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,468 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS chemo/bio certification preferred Must-Have: - IV start experience - Strong patient assessment skills - Excellent communication skills Description: Inpatient medical surgical oncology RN position available. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. The position requires availability for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts on nights, weekdays, and every other weekend. Contract length is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, with ONS chemotherapy/bio certification preferred. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5-6. Skills required include IV start, patient assessment, and management of chemotherapy administration. The unit includes adult and geriatric patient populations. Interdisciplinary support available from various services such as physical therapy and pharmacy. Candidates should be knowledgeable in handling cytotoxic medications and adept at monitoring chemotherapy side effects. Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and reliable in attendance.
