Description: This is a registered nurse position specializing in hematology and oncology. The unit primarily cares for patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants. Experience in administering chemotherapy and managing patients with various hematologic malignancies is essential. The role involves telemetry monitoring and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Nurses will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. A heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety is required. The successful candidate must possess skills in blood product administration and central line management. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complex patient needs.
