Educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management using available resources.
Utilizes knowledge of pharmacology and administers medications safely according to established policies.
Shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization.
Complies with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Actively participates in Nursing Shared Governance by supporting unit councils and improvement initiatives.
Engages in professional development and continuing nursing education.
Completes all mandatory education requirements.
Integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.
Provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.
