Job Title: RN Bone Marrow Profession: RN Specialty: Bone Marrow Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in BMT, 1 year travel nursing experience License: RN License Certifications: ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-bio certification, BLS, OCN® (Oncology Certified Nurse) Must-Have: - 2 years of BMT experience - Experience administering chemotherapy - EPIC EMR/charting experience Description: Experienced BMT Nurse needed for a 16-bed unit caring for patients undergoing stem cell therapies and clinical trials. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology. Experience with chemotherapy administration is required. The unit handles both a 16-bed and a 14-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology setup, focusing on BMT, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and clinical trials. The position offers 36 hours per week, typically working three 12-hour shifts. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend, with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:3 to 1:4. Nurses may be required to float to other equivalent units as needed.
