Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,527 per week in Lakeville, MN

Job Title: Oncology Infusion Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Adult oncology and hematology patient experience Ability to access and manage ports Experience with chemotherapy administration Description: Position available for an Oncology Infusion Nurse. Shift is Monday to Friday with a start time of 7:30 or 8:00 AM and an end time of 4:00 or 4:30 PM. Patient ratio is 1:5. First-time applicants are accepted. No weekend shifts required. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Specializes in adult oncology and hematology outpatient infusion services. Treatments include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, and supportive care. Nurses will provide patient education and symptom management. Utilizes electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient care. No blood products or transfusions administered in this facility. Expected daily census is approximately 15 visits. Candidates must possess skills in chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing practices. Required to recognize and manage side effects and complications. All candidates must comply with health care regulations and institutional policies.
