Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience, Chemotherapy experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS certification, Chemotherapy certification Must-Have: Proficient with IV insertion Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required Description: The RN provides safe, high-quality nursing care to oncology and non-oncology patients in a fast-paced ambulatory infusion setting. Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, and supportive therapies. Continuous patient monitoring and rapid response to infusion reactions and emergent situations are essential. Ongoing patient education is a key component of the position. Core Competencies: Peripheral IV insertion and blood draws. Access, maintenance, and de-access of central lines (PICCs, ports, CVCs). Comprehensive patient assessment. Management of infusion reactions and urgent clinical changes. Patient and caregiver education. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Five 8-hour shifts (staggered): 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends or holidays. Shifts will alternate between chemotherapy and non-oncology treatments.
