Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Step down experience preferred License: RN required Certifications: ACLS required, BLS required Must-Have: - Expert in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects - Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias - High level of respiratory care including, but not limited to, trachs, chest tubes, airvo, CPAP/BIPAP - Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask in critical situations - Experience with end-of-life care/hospice Description: 12-hour night shifts are required. Excellent communication skills are essential. The population consists of complex medical oncology patients. Step down experience is highly preferred. ACLS certification is required. Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias is necessary. Expertise in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects is required. A high level of respiratory care is required, including trachs, chest tubes, airvo, CPAP, and BiPAP. The ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask in critical situations is essential. Experience with end-of-life care and hospice is required.
