Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,576 per week in Paramus, NJ

Administration of blood and blood products is required. Candidates must have experience with chemotherapy administration. Care and management of central lines and implanted lines is necessary. Inpatient oncology experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in PICC line care. Starting and maintaining IVs is essential. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical Surgical Oncology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients. Candidates must possess strong IV skills, including initiating IVs and caring for central lines. Experience in providing chemotherapy is preferred. The role requires entering patient data and charting effectively. Candidates should have experience with pain management and end-of-life care. The nurse will float to other units as needed. Every other weekend availability is required. Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia Review exam during orientation. Proficiency in systematic EKG rhythm interpretation and heart rate calculations is essential. Candidates must be able to identify various cardiac rhythms and blocks.
