Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Oncology Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Oncology experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, APHON Must-Have: - Experience in administration of chemotherapy - Knowledge of bone marrow transplant procedures - Familiarity with infection prevention and monitoring chemotherapy - Understanding of neutropenic precautions and symptom management Description: This role involves working in Pediatric Oncology. The nurse will have responsibilities in case management and patient care coordination. The nurse will assist providers with ordering and obtaining lab and other results. The role includes triaging patient calls and addressing patient care needs. Flexibility to float to other facilities is required. The candidate must be comfortable with patient care for various age groups, including neonates and adolescents. Communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential.
