Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,610 per week in Glens Falls, NY

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (varies between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years in outpatient oncology and infusion License: New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification, Oncology Certified Nurse Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Peripheral IV insertion experience - Experience with port, fistula, and catheter care Description: COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required. Please include New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with all submissions. This license is required to staff for temporary needs. Candidates must have recent experience in outpatient oncology and infusion. Chemo Certification and OCN certification are required. Peripheral IV insertion experience is necessary. Experience with ports, fistulas, and catheters is required. IV certification is highly preferred. EPIC experience is mandatory. Travelers with previous assignments are preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Dress code includes personal scrubs of any color, without designs or cartoons. No hoodies are allowed. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of upload. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Cancellation policy allows for up to 5 shifts per contract with a 2-hour notice requirement. All new agency staff must have completed de-escalation training from approved providers by 1/1/2024. Training must be noted with submission. The facility provides outpatient services for patients requiring frequent infusions of medications. Infusion services are administered by registered nurses specialized in intravenous therapy. This role requires excellent patient care skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
