Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology patients in a Medical-Surgical/Stepdown (MS/SD) setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Medical-Surgical and Stepdown experience required
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider or ONCC certification required
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications, chemotherapy (as applicable), IV infusions, and blood products
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
