Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Outpatient Infusion Center – New York

Schedule: Outpatient infusion center setting; 13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation; No call required; Overtime and holiday multipliers available at 1.25x rate
Highlights:
Specialized outpatient infusion center focusing on patient care excellence in a comfortable, convenient setting
Diverse case mix including IV antibiotics, blood product transfusions, PICC line placement, IVIG therapy, iron infusions, and specialty biologic medications
Work with patients requiring treatment for oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other chronic conditions
Epic EMR system utilized (experience required)
Professional dress code: personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons
Limited time-off requests accepted (up to 5 days maximum; must be noted at time of application)
Requirements:
Active New York State Registered Nurse license
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
Chemotherapy certification (ONS) – Required
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Required
Minimum 2 years of current outpatient oncology and infusion experience
Peripheral IV insertion experience required
Experience with ports, fistulas, and central venous catheters required
New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for agency partners
Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved provider (Welle, CPI, or PMCS)
14-panel drug screen completion within 24 hours of offer acceptance
Current skills checklist, work history, and supervisory reference from within past two years
