License: Valid RN license Certifications: AHA BLS, ONC certification Must-Have: Candidates must have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios. Candidates must be comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios that may flex based on staffing and unit needs. Description: This position involves providing care for patients with blood cancers who are receiving chemotherapy, biotherapies, and cellular therapies. Candidates will be expected to float between similar units as required by facility needs. Nurse-to-patient ratios may vary but are generally 3-4:1. Candidates must have the ability to manage various clinical scenarios, including administration of chemotherapy and blood products. Experience with central line care, monitoring for side effects, and recognizing abnormal lab values is important.
