Hem/Onc Float Pool Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Hematology/Oncology Float Pool Staff Registered Nurses to support our oncology departments across multiple locations. This role requires a flexible and adaptable nursing professional to provide high-quality patient care in various units.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across various departments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assess patient conditions regularly.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations while providing care.
  • Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous experience in oncology nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to float between different oncology units as needed.

Work Schedule

This position requires availability for 3x12 hour night shifts.
