**Exciting Opportunity: Nurse Manager (CHEMO/Immunotherapy)** **Job Description:** - Seeking an energetic and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our CHEMO/Immunotherapy department. - Utilize your expertise to make a profound impact on patient care and departmental operations. - Collaborate with a talented team and help shape the future of nursing services. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Financial Oversight:** - Manage overall financial performance for assigned departments. - Set annual budgets and optimize resource utilization. - **Clinical Operations:** - Oversee Nursing Service orientation and evaluate new staff. - Coordinate patient care assignments based on individual needs. - Implement and revise nursing policies and procedures. - **Quality Improvement:** - Drive quality enhancement initiatives to improve patient care standards. - Monitor compliance with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS). - **Staff Management:** - Mentor and support staff development through training and career advancement. - Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback. - Maintain staffing schedules while approving leave requests. - **Leadership:** - Act as Acting Chief Nursing Officer when necessary. - Engage in interdepartmental collaboration to optimize patient care. **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred. - Must hold a valid, unrestricted AK RN license at the time of submission. - Minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience. - At least 2 years of experience in immunotherapy/CHEMO. - Previous supervisory experience required. **Certifications:** - Current ACLS certification (PALS and NRP preferred). **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** - Strong understanding of nursing principles and hospital policies. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems. - Excellent communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to foster positive relationships with patients and staff. **Shift Information:** - Monday to Friday: Days Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
