The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the Inpatient Oncology Unit (611A), providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and related medical conditions in an acute care hospital setting. The RN is responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient progress throughout the shift.
The role involves managing both oncology and medical-surgical patients, ensuring safe, high-quality care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. The nurse will also educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-care instructions, while maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) requiring strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
