Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in an inpatient hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Ability to meet all facility compliance and credentialing requirements for a travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an oncology setting
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
