Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Oncology (Travel)

Contract | Travel | Nights | 3x12 (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg/Oncology unit serving oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and med/surg overflow patients
- Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1, delivering responsible, compassionate, and patient-oriented nursing care
- Utilize EPIC EMR and standard medical equipment including IV pumps, vital sign machines, and computers
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Adhere to facility dress code: navy scrubs and scrub jackets only
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NIHSS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Expected weekly hours: 36
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Acute care experience
- Oncology or palliative care background
- Experience with bariatric or post-operative patient populations
