    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Bismarck, North Dakota, 58501!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Oncology / Medical-Surgical

    Location

    Bismarck, ND

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days (07:00–19:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 31-bed Medical-Surgical/Oncology unit, including administration of chemotherapy as core oncology staff
    • Manage a diverse adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including stroke, HTN, COPD, CHF, A-fib, chest pain, cellulitis, AMS/behavioral, and surgical overflow
    • Titrate drips including Lasix and Heparin per established protocols
    • Monitor and manage patients on BiPAP (stable) and care for patients with established trachs with blow-by oxygen
    • Utilize telemetry packs in coordination with on-unit monitor technicians; not required to independently read and interpret strips
    • Float to other Medical-Surgical units and assist with ER holds as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in good standing
    • Current BLS certification
    • Experience with titrating IV drips
    • Ability to work a rotating schedule including every other weekend and holidays as needed
    • Willingness to float to other Medical-Surgical units as staffing requires
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with trach care and BiPAP management
    • Prior experience with Lasix drip titration
    • Oncology or chemotherapy administration background
    • Travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
