Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care to oncology and hematology patients in a high-acuity setting
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Support bone marrow transplant (BMT) and CAR T-cell therapy patients throughout their treatment course
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Strong hematology/oncology experience in a high-acuity inpatient setting
- Ability to work a rotating day/night schedule including every other weekend and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with bone marrow transplant (BMT) and/or CAR T-cell (CART) therapy
- ONS chemotherapy-immunotherapy certification
- Experience caring for inpatient oncology research patients
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
