Travel RN – BMT Oncology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on an active BMT Oncology unit serving 80–100 patients daily with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (adjusted for higher acuity)
- Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient care protocols
- Perform central line draws and operate Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters
- Document accurately using Meditech and Onco EMR systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, resource RNs, and medical assistants
- Participate in care delivery within a nationally recognized transplant center engaged in phase 1 and first-in-human clinical trials, including a growing CAR-T program
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology acute care hospital experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- BMT and/or Hematology Oncology (HemOnc) experience strongly preferred
- Outgoing, personable, and warm bedside manner that aligns with a collaborative unit culture
