Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

Lawrenceville, GA | Radiation Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (varies)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Radiation Oncology setting
• Administer chemotherapy to oncology patients per established protocols
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment and intervene as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Oncology
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Radiation Oncology clinical environment
• Familiarity with oncology-specific patient assessment and care protocols
