Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / Outpatient Infusion

Key Responsibilities- Administer intravenous therapies including IV antibiotics, antifungals, steroids, blood products, IVIG, iron infusions, and specialty biologic medications
- Place and maintain Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICC lines) and manage central venous access devices, ports, fistulas, and catheters
- Provide chemotherapy infusions and monitor patients for adverse reactions in an outpatient oncology setting
- Perform therapeutic phlebotomies and provide hydration therapy
- Educate patients on self-administration of medications including biologics and anticoagulants
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion nursing
- Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/CHEMO Cert) – required
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification – required
- Peripheral IV insertion experience – required
- EPIC electronic health records experience – required
- BLS certification – required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Completed de-escalation training from an approved provider (e.g., Welle, CPI, or PMCS)
Preferred Experience / Skills- IV Certification – highly preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience – preferred
