Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday Days (Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–1:30 PM) | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits within an outpatient oncology setting
- Obtain and document patient vitals accurately and in a timely manner
- Support a team of four oncology/hematology providers throughout the clinical day
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to oncology and hematology patient populations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team
Required Qualifications- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience
- Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals in a clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an outpatient oncology or hematology environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced provider-support role
