Registered Nurse – Oncology (Medical Surgical)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Administer chemotherapy and oncology-specific treatments in accordance with unit protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
- Float within skillset to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage based on unit needs
Required Qualifications- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
- Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
