Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients including those with hematological malignancies, solid oncology diagnoses, bone marrow transplant, and CAR-T therapy
- Administer chemotherapy and manage related patient monitoring and safety protocols
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, with ratios subject to adjustment based on census and patient acuity when floating
- Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Float within scope of skillset across campus units as needed
- Work 2 of 3 designated holidays per contract term
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- Current ACLS, BLS, and Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certifications required at time of submission
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to float within skillset across units as required — no exceptions
- Must adhere to agreed-upon schedule; no schedule changes accommodated after offer acceptance
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with bone marrow transplant or CAR-T therapy patient populations
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
- Familiarity with Baxter pump operation
